LARA MCCALLUM

Lara began her coaching career as a high school student in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and continued coaching throughout her college years in Seattle, Washington. In 2008 she relocated to Southern California where she met her now husband and coaching partner, Arsen Minasyan. The couple heads the women’s competitive program at Gymnastics Olympica. Arsen and Lara have helped gymnasts achieve success at the USAG Developmental (former Junior Olympic), TOPS, HOPES, and Elite levels. Outside of the gym, Lara enjoys being mom to newborn son, Leo, and senior dog, Kobe. She is also completing her Masters in Clinical Psychology at Pepperdine University and endeavors to use her knowledge and clinical skills to assist athletes, families, and fellow coaches in their sport journeys.
